People Watching.
You can find a wide variety of people here. From oldies to kids, from foreigners to our very own desi girls!
I was at the airport a couple of days back and it surprised me how intruging a task people watching can be.
My flight was delayed and I was hungry, I don't like the food at the airport excepting the cookie man ka eggless brownie, so I took that in hand, and, watched.
At first I saw a guy with an IIM ka t-shirt reading some high fundu novel whose name I've never ever heard off. Okay. Expected. But the funny thing about him was that he wore sunglasses, inside tha airport! I don't know why but I find people who wear sunglasses in closed areas where there is no sun really weird!
Then I saw a lady, office going types, sitting on the laptap, talking on the phone, nothing unusual about her but I just wanted to mention her.
Then I saw a foreigner lady, British I think, she was there from like an hour but her eyes never moved off the television, India was playing England.
Then I saw a bunch of kids, creating a havoc and not even realising it!
Then a lady, no I think I must say girl, she was dressed as if she was going for a party in the middle of the night! And ya, she had her pitch black glasses on! * I don't know whats with these people and glares!*
Then I saw a famiy I knew, they lived in our apartments like years ago, now those kids were all grown up and non recognisable.*donno if thats a word though*
Then there was a couple sitting right behind me, they are playing cards and really enjoying it.
And finally I saw a man who looked just like Nature Baba *vivid MTV fans would know him*. He has long hair, a big beard and is round in shape, and he kind of looks like and modern early man! :)
People who know me, would know what a philosophical idiot I am, so what I observed from this situation was that, today, people are so involved with themselves today that they don't find the need to look around and talk to other people, everyone is with their ipods or phones or with their books and newspapers and tv!
Has man become a for-my-own-self-animal from a social animal?

Expectation.
I don't know why, but it does happen, I'm sure you would agree.
Most of the time, we expect from people we care for, we don't care to expect from the others, we know its just not worth it. So its not like we expect from the wrong people, now you would say that there are no wrong and right people. I would agree, its just that, we don't choose the people we expect from, its like automatically tuned.
Specially for me, its not something I control. Something chooses stuff I expect for me, I don't know if its my mind or my heart, I don't know the difference either, but I know that people I expect stuff from are people I really love, people I care about.
One more thing is that, most of the time, we expect even from places where we know we are only going to get disappointment, some may call it a little ray of hope that things will happen, some others may cal it a bleak of light in a dark room. And the most amusing part is that we expect even after we are disappointed, even if we don't want to, its automatically tuned.
Again, quoting and friend, "First time shame on her, Second time shame on you, for being so stupid to let him back knowing he'd already done it once." - Its this thing which automatically tunes stuff for us, our mind/heart that gives the second chance, third chance and every other chance, its stupid and dumb, its like digging a hole for yourself and jumping into it, but then again, its it for people we love, we trust, even if all we really want to do is shake that person up and give them one tight slap, just beat them up so bad that they are in the hospital, and then, you take stupid yellow flowers to the hospital. Its all so stupid, but still, it happens, not only with me but with you too, if you're telling me it doesn't, you just not looking hard enough.
This post was kind of written for someone, I'm sorry but I did expect better, and I don't know why, but I can't stop it even I want to, its that stupid automatic thing, so you don't have anything to worry about. *Do not deciper this as "Karishma's not angry anymore"*
I'm not mentioning who that someone is, but again expecting that someone to understand.

Calvin and Hobbes!
I really want to try this excuse once in college when I've not completed my assignment on time!
;)
I've showed this to my dad, he told me if I try anything like this, he'd be glad if I stated at the phone booth after that, but dad, I'm gonna try this once, and I know you'll come to pick me! ;)
This is the best "Calvin-Susie" strip ever!
You have to look at it carefully to understand, not many people would.
Someday, I'l write my own philosophy book too! :)
Yes, it is really hard to argue with someone who looks so happy, it just makes you sooooo happy, to see them sooo happy! :)
Too, all the people who want me to learn how to swim, I'll survive! :P
Me too!! Me too!! Me too!! :D
Philosophy #2594: Get out only when there is nothing on TV!
*Calvin watches as much TV as I do! :P :P :P*
COOOOOOLLLL
So much for adventure! Buh :|
TAG!
Wanna go out for dinner, learn how from Calvin! ;)
They make me smile with tears in my eyes! :')
I know there are millons of people, all around the world who relate to Calvin and Hobbes,
some of them have stuffed tiger friends, some of them do not,
some of them watch as much TV as Cavin does, some others don't,
some of them have Calvin's wild imagination, some of them don't,
some of them are as naughty as Cavin, some of them wished they could be.
Whatever they relate to, everyone loves the witty, naughty boy and the stuffed tiger,
they have their own little world and sometimes I get lost in it. :)
And the fact is, I love to get lost in it, its really nice to read about two people that have "Fun" *in the true sense of the word with nothing but a cardboard box. *True Calvin and Hobbes fans would understand ;)*
All hail Bill Watterson for making Calvin and Hobbes, we love you, we love Calvin and Hobbes! :D

Fake-o-linas!
There are a lot of fake-o-linas around,
Some try to be honey sweet when truly inside they don't really mean it when they say all those nice things to people, about people to people.
Some are as soft as cookie dough but show themselves as pillars of hardness and irritate everyone else, cuz I think they aren't OK with what they are and maybe too scared to even face themselves. *Its my point of view ofcouse.*
Some others just have an air of arrogance, I don't know what they are thinking but it really shows, I mean why have such an attitude when you clearly can't carry it off.
Some others misinterpret being child like and end up acting childish, I mean its not bad to be unreasonable and childish but you have to draw a line.
Some others act like total bitches when actually they're really sweet people inside, I guess they have fun being the bitches, cuz its anyday more fun than being sweet and since people know they are actually sweet.
Some others try to act really caring and mushy when they actually think love is just release of extra hormones.
Everyone has their own reasons for being what they are, or not, but i would just say that somewhere, draw a line, because all people are the fools you think them to be, they can sometimes see clearly through you, and they don't really feel nice about it.
Good, Bad, Short tempered, Sweet, Sour, Happy, Sad, Bored, Jealous, Sluggish, Scared, Longing, Delightful, Disappointed, Surprised, which ever emotion you are, just be honest and portray that, don't hide, don't be fake, because, good or bad, you are YOU and noone can be YOU.
Every person has is a mix, noone is perfect, we fall we learn, if we don't fall we are stagnant.
So be yourself, don't be fake and expect people not to figure it out. :)

Its different!! :D
Well, I have a subject called multimedia in college(don laugh and cal it lame, there are a lot of things in softwares like photoshop which need to be demonstrated to you in person, you can't learn everything from the photoshop bible!, yea well, there are tutorials online, but it needs a lot of time and patience and a really fast broadband connection.) yea well coming back... where was I, multimedia, a subject at college, I had to do a magazine cover page as like an initial assignment, i started the work, searched for pictures on flikr(really good stuff, you must check it out!), i saw lots and then i remembered something I'd read somewhere a few days back, "If your lucky enough to be different from everyone else, don't change!"
With that theme in mind, i made this :
All done, put it into a CD(they don't accept pen drives in my college), gave it to ma'am(she dint see it at that time though :( )
Then two days later, it was Ethnic day at Stella Maris, and like every other event, we had people seeing bead jewellery at collage, really beautiful, colorful stuff, and I was just looking at the stuff, where I saw this beautiful blue necklace, see the picture, and guess what crossed my mind again?
"If your lucky enough to be different from everyone else, don't change!"
This thought is coming to me again and again and i thought the only way I thought I could do justice to it was to, share it, so, I've done my part!!
Think about it, and remember, no matter what happens, "There will never be another YOU!" :)

What Kind of Monster Are You?
You Are an Alien |
You're so strange, people occasionally wonder if you're from another world. You don't try to be different, but you see most things from a very unique, very offbeat perspective. Brilliant to the point of genius, you definitely have some advanced intelligence going on. No matter what circles you travel in, you always feel like a stranger. And it's a feeling you've learned to like. Your greatest power: Your superhuman brain Your greatest weakness: Your lack of empathy - you just don't get humans You play well with: Zombies |
so ther is a possibility of me being a zulu!! wow!!

It still happens! :(
Preeti Vikas Singhani got married to Vikas with the hope of starting a new life, but little did she know that, life had other plans for her. Vikas was a store manager in Sierra Leone and soon after her marriage the harassment for dowry started, and after 12 days Preethi's parents got a call from Vikas's family that their daughter had ended her life without giving any reasons.
You would get shocked at finding out that imposed suicides still occur in this time and age, to top this, we find out that Preethi's body has not even been sent back to her family yet, and its been more 28 days since this happened, and Vikas is asking for 15 lakhs to send the body back. Preethi's parents would have never imagined that they will have to pay and bargain for their own daughters body. This incident shows how the love for money can even dehumanize individuals and take away their sensitivity completely.
Vikas's family has been arrested here but that does ot help one bit in getting Preethi's body back to her parents. Parents who married their daughter off with great joy, only to to utterly shocked with what a twisted turn their daughters life would take.
This is a case not only about Preethi, around 7000 women are killed or kill themselves every year for dowry harassment.
There were 24183 cases pending in court for Dowry harassment in 2006.
(Source : http://www.saveindianfamily.org/blogs/renuka-fudging-statistics/ )
This number would have increased to an incredibly high number if you add the whole of 07' and half of 08'.
We say, stop calling India a developing country, India is a developed country, but I ask you, does this happen in developed countries?
Unless the attitude towards women does not change in this country India will not be fully developed, yes, India will be secure economically but not emotionally.
The people of India must realize that women are not just child bearing machines and people to run their household, they are much more than that, and they have to get that in their head weather they believe it or not!!
So, Respect women, they are the reason you are sitting on your chair and reading this entry!!

Same to same but different!
The same way in life, things that look same may not be all that similar, like twins, and also, we many a time judge things by just looking at them, we don't go deep inside and look, that maybe, just maybe, there must be something more to it than what meets the eye.
We must learn to look at thins more closely, it could be difficult at times, but sometimes you have to do it.
"Sometimes people build walls around themselves not to keep other people out, but just to see who cares enough to break them."
So, next time something is wrong, don't look at the surface and say its ok, remember, "Still waters run deep."

Tone it down!!
Well, okay, we know you have a nice music system and your taste in music is amazing *not* but you don't need to prove it you know.
The people who I'm talking about are people who think they live in the middle of the forest or desert or on the Saturn rings or something, the put on their music *noise* so loud, that they forget they are actually livin in a city, a city where they have neighbors, the neighbors could be kids, old people, or kids who are studying to give their dreaded board exams, or good girls like me studying for their semester exams *trying to read a comic*, so all you youngistanies out there, who have a nice big music system with woofers and the likes, please, tone it down!!
There are better ways to show off of you want to, this is just plain disturbing and irritating, just imagine, you are trying so hard to impress some girl/boy/anyone they are just cursing you, noone wants free music to flow into their house, get that into your head! :D
If it still hasen gotten into your head, then try to turn of the music *noise* you are listening to and read it again, m sure you'll get it!! :P

Contradicting-Colors!!
We do underestimate the value of color, you won't believe it, but color has a lot to do with how you feel , its something which gets to our sub-conscious mind and… lets say, sets the “mood”. :)
As I was thinking of how to put color into words, and I got this strange idea : Most of us would associate meanings to colors, but just look at how contradicting some of them could be!!
Red - It signifies love (red balloons, red hearts.. awwwww) on one hand and on the other hand it is a way to signify things like anger and danger!!
Yellow - Remember the rhyme "yellow yellow dirty fellow, sitting on a buffalo" and on the other hand the same color is used to refer to happy things !(the bright yellow sunflowers and the ever lovely yellow smiley :))
Pink - Its a girl's color but the men who dare to wear pink are they real men!!(Don't ask me where I got that from!! :P)
Green - On one hand its the color of money, prosperity (remember the greeny-greeny dollar bills) and at the same time green is also the color jealousy.
Grey - Well they say grey is a dull day's color but interestingly grey is also my fav tee's color(and I for one am not dumb!! [am I??])
Black - Its the color of Confidence but also the color which come depict a person to be really lonely and mentally imbalanced.
Blue - The color of the sea, its like polymorphism[refer JAVA dictionary for meaning], it can be calm when it wants to be and as destructing as a hurricane.
Orange – Its’ said to be a color of happiness but the same time a color which demands attention which in-turn reflects at a persons low self-esteem.
There was only one color where I din’t find a contradicting meaning attached, and the color was : *ta-ra-ra-tut-tara*
White - The color of peace, healing, comfort, truth, purity, idealism, reverence, simplicity, cleanliness, humility, precision and innocence.
Now that’s one powerful color!!
(btw, if u find some contradictions for white, other than its relation to death in the Indian culture(which I apparently din’t want to mention) then you could please tell me )
Well think about it and if you do come up with some more contradcting-colors, do let me know! :)

Wat if?!
If life was like Ekta Kapoor's "K Saga's"
We would get up after a long night, but make-up intact.
We would have atleast 2 spouses/gf's/bf's and no real friends at all.
There would be a wedding every month and a no-reason party every week.
Women would always wear skimpy sarees and big bindi's and men would always be in suits.
We would never have a cellphone when we needed one.
We would have enemies who we never even knew existed.
We would never laugh. i.e. We would only fake laugh.
True love would exist, for a while and then we would get married to someoone else.
There would never be happy endings.(oh. wait, "K Saga's don end rite?)
We would live for atleast 598 years.
When the phone rings, there will always be a "Kya??????" and the receiver of the phone would be dropped down.
And if its one on the si-fi shows then
We would see UFO's.
Zulus would come down from zulu land and kidnap earthlings.
Zulus would be allergic to cheese and chocolate ice-cream.
We would know a little boy like Calvin who would actually imagine the zulus before they actually come to conquer earth.
And if life was like one of the reality shows
The tears would be fake.
Our only aim n life would be not to get eliminated.
We would have a lot of fake friends.
We would have background music for all our moods.
We would cry, to not get eliminated.
And if life was like cartoons
We would never make sense.
Life would be a lot more colorful than it is now.
We would fall into trouble and fall out of it real fast.(Most cartoons last for only 5 minutes)
When we would fall into trouble, there would be super heros to come save us every time.
Life would always have "happy endings".
We could say what we want when ever we want and not fear of appearing stupid cuz everyone is that way.
Kids would love us.
We could drive, even if we weren't 18 and didn't have a license.
And if life was like a news-hour show
There would be a lot of lies.
A boy falling into a pit would be the biggest thing that happened that day.
People would be manipulated and we would show things the way other people want to see them.
The review of our whole life could be given in less than one minute.(Including adds)
There would be people watching our every move and a small mistake could turn out to be the biggest gossip of the day.
And if life was a Crime Drama show
The only colors one would wear would be black and grey.
There will be darkness even in the day.
There would be murders everyday, every hour, every minute.
We would live only on coffee.
We would never get to sleep.
All our cars and bikes would have a siren sound and not a normal horn.
Yes, life would be weird if i was like a tv show but then again, I think it would be a lot more interesting.
I would love it if i had a background score for my life and never have bad hair days.
I would love it if life were more colorful, I would love if we had parties every week and if we had no college and no worries bout grades and attendance!!
Wouldn't u??

Woman's day 08' :)
Coming back, 8th March 08' - Woman’s day, what does one do on this day??
Send texts to all their "woman friends", "Happy Women’s Day" or ask em for a treat cuz its their day? or just do nothing at all, I mean common, what’s the big deal anyway??
Well, frankly speaking I didn’t do anything special about woman’s day myself, except wishing my mom, and as for doing something for myself, I didn't think I needed a day to do something special for myself(Yea.. I do give ego boosts to myself from time to time, so don't really need a special day). So, bottom line is, the only time I actually thought that woman’s day was a special event was when I remembered that I needed to post something on my blog, and as you would have guessed by now, I'm not making any sense(as usual).
Women to me are a species which are capable of anything if they put their heart to, if they want to do it, come what may, they will do it!!
The are a bundle of contradictions,
They smile and cry at the same time,
They start smiling when they are supposed to scold at you,
They work till mid-night, but still get up in time to start a new day afresh,
They laugh with you, but you know they are the only ones going to be there when you cry too,
They could be as cuddly as teddy bears, but also be "Ice Woman" to people who irritate her,
They could be this; they could be that, they could be anything they want to be.
They are the most un-perfectly-perfect people on earth.
I salute all the women I know, and to the men I would only like to say “The first woman was created from the rib of a man. She was not made from his head to top him, 1nor from his feet to be trampled on by him, but out of his side to be equal to him.”
Women are to be respected, adored and loved not to be pitied on or eve-teased.
Make a woman feel loved today, she may be your friend, your mother, your grand-mother, your teacher, your servant, your teacher, your girlfriend your sister, she could be anyone, take some time out and make her feel special cuz she is one of the reasons you are what you are today!! Do something, don't just send her a text, make her feel special, pampered one day, just cuz she’s woman, she deserves it!! :)
PS: You could do this any day, everyday, you don’t need for woman’s day to make someone feel special!?!

If
if
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master,
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Enchanted
Ok back to the post, a couple days back I saw a movie, Disney's, "Enchanted" and at this point I would like to take this opportunity to thank God for, “Walt Disney”, again!!.
"Enchanted" is a cute lovey-dovey story and I went to watch it with two of my friends and let me tell you, WE LOVED IT!! :)
I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss
And a prince, I'm hoping, comes with this
That's what brings ever-aftering so happy
That's the reason we need lips so much
For lips are the only things that touch
So to spend a life of endless bliss
Just find who you love through true love's kiss
"Enchanted" strengthened my belief in True love , I mean its not everyday that a princess from Antalasia(a place in fairy land)comes into the real world(New York)and finds her true love here(yea, in the real world of all the places, and I thought true love was something that existed only in fairyland :| ), she comes and sings and dances and the greatest thing about Gizzel is that she comes here and does not change, she is her own fairy-self, trusting old robber hags, smiling at everyone she sees(in busy New York, it is a task to stop, and smile at people), she makes her own clothes(yes, makes – designs and sews them) and cleans with mice and birds!! and she believes that her prince(someone who she met just a day ago) will come to her rescue. But at that juncture, little did she know, that the man with her true loves kiss was not her prince but, someone else.... this shows us that your or my true love too, may not a prince/princess, he could be....just anyone! We just have to believe that we'll find him and, I know for a fact that if u believe that you'll find him, you wil! :)
"Enchanted" also told me its not enough for you to only be in love, sometimes you have to let the other person know, if not for anything else then to make that person feel nice, lets not let take things for granted and sometimes actually do something for the people we love, it could be anything small, like writing them a note(or an e-mail) to show that you care, sending them some flowers, a text to ask them how their day is going, a cal-jus to say "I love You".... it could be anything! :)
You got to show her you need her
Don't treat her like a mind reader
Each little something to lead her to believe you love her.
I love fairy tales most because of their "happily every after ends" and I've come to a point that I've started believing that they actually exist in real life(Don't argue with me on that, ever, they do exist) and i also believe that if things are not happy when they've ended, they haven actually ended, they've just paused.(Life could be so nice if it had options like Windows Media Player, pause when you want, stop when you want, play when you feel like it and the next and previous buttons would be like the best things that ever happened to us!!)...coming back, I would like to end with the words of a song from the movie,
“Storybook endings, fairytales coming true
Deep down inside we want to believe they still do
In our secretest heart
It's our favorite part of the story”
People who think fairy tales are kiddish and dumb would not believe(in public) that "happy endings" exist in the real world but I know for a fact that, in their most secret prayers, they must be praying for "Happy endings" in their life too!! :)
PS: Italics are lyrics of the songs from the movie.

Rear View Mirror
Ya so coming back, if we had rear view mirrors in life too, then, literally, we could see what the person behind us was doing and you know it would be of great help specially if you have friends( or enemies) who like to prank on you(by sticking notes saying, “I’m Dumb”, or like to pull off your chair when ur jus goin to sit on it and the likes) and in exam hal( you know why ;) , though let me clear to you that I don’t resort to such cheap tactics to get the marks I get :P) and ofcourse when u turn around suddenly you don’t risk stamping on your friends toe or bumping into your JAVA teacher!!
But on a more philosophical note, I think a rear view mirror in life would help us to look back at the times we’ve spent.
Good times would give us laughter, leave a smile on our face, give us hope during bad times and help us realize that bad times come but they don’t last forever.
Bad times would bring back painful memories and lots of lessons, lessons learnt for a lifetime.
Times of hardwork would make us realize that nothing in life comes easy, we have to work in order to win, we cant just sit there and keep hoping to win, and actually win.
Times spent with friends would make us nostalgic and remind you that, sometimes it okay to be “weird”, just cuz its fun.
Times with family would help us realize that no matter what we do, right or wrong, good or bad, or we don’t do anything at all, there are people who stand behind us and will support us and help us get through everything, whether they actually approve of what we do or not.
Whatever times we’ve had, the life we’ve lived is something which we should never forget, cuz I believe every moment is important in itself, its even good to remember times when you were bored cuz when u think of them you actually contemplate on how lame you actually were(I do that!!).
So, yea, conclusion, life may not have provided a rear view mirror but we for sure have the power to imagine that we have one and can live our life looking back, not looking back and getting stuck, but looking back and laughing, learning, smiling and analyzing.
PS: Don’t say you can’t imagine a rear view mirror, just give it a shot, if Calvin can make a time machine out of a mere cardboard box, you sure can imagine a rear view mirror! :P
True love
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 a.m., when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.
I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him look at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On examination, I found it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer' s Disease
As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him, And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?
He smiled as he patted my hand and said, She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."
True love is neither physical, nor romantic.
True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

Police Uncle! and lots more which actually makes no sense at al :P
Wel they are people who fascinate me and scare me at a time, they work on the roads al they(traffic police), and they keep catching people who break the law ad they stand there on the signal with their walki-talkie's in one hand and a cellphone in another(There must a law wher the public can take fine from the cops if we see them talkin on the cellphone!!). Wel coming back, the stuff they wear with radium(yea, that glow in the dark thingi) al over and the small sticks they hav which light up either green or red at the press of the button(donno wat u cal em, wil hav to look it up). The thing that fascinates me the most about them are the walkie talkies. I always wonder wat they use that for, i assume they use it to tel the other poilce man ki i've given em a green, traffic comin ur side, but again this is what normal people would say when u ask em wat the cops use the walkie talkies for, but my crooked mind as usual runs in one crooked direction and i've come up with a number of things the cops can actually do with the walkie-talkies they posses. (I actually choose to believe that some of the following are true, eventhough they are not, jus for the fun of it!! :) )
1. They could convert it into a cell-phone which has no bills and talk to everyone they wanted to all day( standing on the road and doin it would be irritating though).
2. They could use them to talk to aliens from a far off land called zuzu land and the residents of zulu land are called zullus.
*The walki-talki bit ends there and, God knows wat starts*
3. Or better, the cops are actually aliens from zulu land and they are here on earth to study the behavioral patterns of homo-sepians because they are actually goin to invade planet earth and live here and send us al to the Saturn rings.
4. They are actually the cartoons from cartoon network and since cartoon network is downsizing they have al become cops to earn an income.
5. They love waving their hands and showing their palm to others. (They do that when they ask u to stop!)
6. They love the melodious sond of cars and bikes honking away to glory for no reason at al.
7. They keep their word, i.e. when they were little kids they would have asspired to become cops cuz they get to keep a gun and its fun to fire a gun.( I don't think traffic police has guns rite?)
8. Its one of the easiest ways to see celebrities, at signal i mean, everyone travells on the road after all and sooner or later they hav to face a red signal.
*if ur still reading, either ur totally jobless or ur one of the many people i've sent the link to so that u tel u me how the post it*
9. They hate shooping, they hav to wear the same clothes everyday rite?
10. They like tanned skin.
11. They don't like to blog. (They won't hav the time to.)
*If u've realised that this post makes absolutly no sense, then ur not a big genius, its obvious.*
*If ur still readin, thank u :) , ur my true friend*

Let us take this home with us today & live it every day
Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!
Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm. We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him. If you liked this story, pass it on. If not, you took off your blindfold before dawn.
Moral of the story:

The Things That Matter
Today, life has become a race. Everyone is running and running to win. Yes, it's a good thing, but are we losing out on - or should I say, completely forgetting - the things that really matter ?
How long is it since you
* saw a flower with dew drops on it,
* enjoyed the rain (without cribbing about your clothes
getting dirty),
* helped someone cross the road,
* sat down and actually enjoyed your cup of Coffee without
hurriedly gulping it down,
* sat down with someone and talked and laughed about
nothing.
...How long?
Are we really running the race of life, are we just losing out on things? On memories that really matter? Is it worth it? Think about it...
Take a break, I am not saying don’t run in the race of life.... just take some time off, sometime to enjoy the company of yourself, sometime to enjoy the miracles of nature, sometime to talk to your friends about nothing, sometime to just not worry about tomorrow and live today fully so you’ll have memories for a life time. Take sometime off …. Its worth it.
Don’t run through life.
Listen to the music of life before the song is over.
Love - A Misconception??
OK, People who read what I write for Stellidoscope would have read this but, i stil wanted to put this up in my blog cuz, i really like this editorial and its read close to my heart. :)
Some would associate it with a fuzzy feeling in the stomach, some others would say sleepless nights, smiling all day, acting weird (in a nice way), eating way too many chocolates, taking an extra half hour to get dressed, keeping your mobile in your hand all day waiting for an SMS from that special someone. I ask you, ‘Is this what love is?' And I bet you would say ‘Yes, Isn’t it obvious?’ To all you people I would ask one more question. ‘Do you love your parents?’ And I bet all of you would say ‘Excuse me? Yes, of course’. Again I ask, ‘Do you get a fuzzy feeling in your stomach when you see your parents, do you hold your phone in your hand all day waiting for them to call?’ You would go ‘Of course not’. Then I ask you again, ‘Do you love your parents?’ Confusion. Silence. No answer.
Okay now I’ll tell you something. Love is nothing but a choice to be happy, a choice to smile all day, a choice to care for someone. To put it in simple terms, I would say, ‘Love is Caring’.
To show our love, we must care. It's simple logic – to show your neighbor dog that you love him, take him for a walk – to show the old lady you care about her, gift her a blanket that will keep her warm on cold nights. Do anything. Do something. The world is starving for love.
They say to be loved, one must love unconditionally. Start. Do something in your own little corner. Learn to care. And if everyone does the same, there will be a change. Not only in your house, or in your country, but in the whole wide world!
Be the change you want to see. Learn to care. :)

This does not have a title!
The more you think about things, the weirder they seem. Take milk for example. Why do we drink COW milk? Who was the guy who first looked at a cow and said. I think I’ll drink whatever comes out of these things when I squeeze ‘em!
Wel its actually so true, the more you think about things the more they get complicated. You would have seen that age old mail message
1=5
2=4
3=9
4=16
5=??
Most of em would go 25, but its actually 1(read the first line). I mean the world has become a race track and all of us are running, the brain is working 27*7(not that i say its bad) but we must remember to take a break, live light. The most simple of things are being questioned by our minds.
Someone has told some nice things about you, you start to manipulate... "what does he/she want from me, how come he is suddenly appreciating my work, something is fishy here, maybe he just want me to fly for a while and meantime he'l get the better out of me and run forward..n blah n blah..." why don't we ever think, "Maybe I'm good(modesty is in its place, but take credit for what you deserve, do it gracefully, say thank you! :)), maybe he sincerely though something i did was worth a mention or something like that???"
Think a little less, cuz if you think tooo much then you are just complicating things, imagining them and then getting worried about nothing at all. I'm not saying that you must not think, think but just don't get so obsessed about things that you lose touch with simple things in life.
Get wet in the rain without thinking about the cold you're gonna catch, eat whateva you want to without thinkin bout the calories it contains, do really stupid stuff like laughing for no reason, do things that make you happy, do things just because they make you happy.
Yes, life is a race and if you want to win, you have to run fast, but don't forget it is a long race and you do need to stop to have your glucose or your gonna faint and fall for sure!!
Don't forget, getting to the destination is very important but the experiences you have in the journey are lessons in life you will never forget.
:)
M back!!
I don't even remember when i posted my last entry but now I'm gonna try and take time out to keep my blog updated, thats to some serious inspiration i got from one genius anna of mine.
